Privacy Policy
Last updated 27 October 2026.
This Privacy Policy describes how Blind Swarm ("Blind Swarm", "we", "us" or "our"), a business based in Queensland, Australia, handles personal information in connection with the website at blindswarm.com (the "Site") and with enquiries about commissioned work. In this Policy, "you" and "your" refer to any person who visits or uses the Site.
Please read this Policy carefully.
Scope of This Policy
The Site presents the products Blind Swarm produces and the commissioned work we offer. Where a product is listed in a third party store, the Site links to that store. No sale is made and no payment is taken on the Site.
This Policy applies to the Site and to enquiries and commissions that begin through it. It does not apply to any third party store, platform or service reached by following a link from the Site. Those services operate under their own terms and their own privacy policies.
Personal Information We Collect
We collect as little personal information as we can. The categories are set out below.
Information You Provide Directly
The Site has no account system. The commissions page has an enquiry form, and that form is the one part of the Site that sends information to us.
The form asks for your name or studio, your email address, what you need, reference links, your pipeline and Unity version, your budget and your timeline. Only the description of what you need must be completed. Every other field is optional and is sent only if you choose to fill it in. Nothing is uploaded and no attachment can be added, as the form accepts text alone.
When you press send, the details you have entered are sent to Web3Forms, a form delivery service, which delivers them to us as an email. Like any web service, Web3Forms also receives ordinary technical information about the request, such as your IP address and browser type.
You may write to the email address published on the Site instead of using the form. Email sent to that address is routed by Cloudflare to our email provider. Correspondence by either route will ordinarily consist of your email address and the contents of your message.
Commissioned Work
If you commission work from us, we use your contact details and the details of your project to quote for, invoice, carry out and deliver that work, and we keep the business records the law requires. Payment for commissioned work is arranged by invoice. Where a payment provider is used, it is named on the invoice and handles your payment details under its own privacy policy. We do not receive or store your card details.
Information Collected Automatically
In order to deliver a page to you, your browser must connect to our hosting provider. As with every web host, it records ordinary technical request information, which may include your IP address, your browser and device type, the page requested and the date and time of the request. This information is used to serve the Site and to maintain its security and availability.
Practices We Do Not Engage In
For the avoidance of doubt:
- We do not use analytics, or any other measurement of your activity.
- We do not set cookies.
- We do not store data in your browser.
- We do not operate a database of enquiries, or an account system. An enquiry reaches us as an email and is held in our mailbox, not in a system running on the Site.
- We do not sell, rent or trade personal information.
- We do not send marketing communications or operate a mailing list.
Third Party Services
The following third parties are involved in running the Site and handling enquiries.
Hosting. The Site is hosted by Vercel, which processes requests as described above.
Domain and email. Cloudflare provides the Site's domain name service and routes email sent to our address on to our email provider.
Typefaces. Text on the Site is set in fonts delivered by Adobe Fonts. When a page loads, your browser requests those fonts from Adobe, which requires Adobe to receive your IP address in order to return them. Adobe states that it records which websites load which fonts, so that the type designers concerned can be paid, and it handles this information under its own privacy policy. Should you prefer not to connect to Adobe, blocking the font domain leaves the Site fully readable in a substitute typeface.
Enquiry delivery. The enquiry form is delivered by Web3Forms. When you send an enquiry, its contents are sent to Web3Forms, which delivers them to us by email and handles them under its own privacy policy. Web3Forms is contacted only at the moment you press send. Loading the commissions page, or filling the form in without sending it, sends nothing.
Video. Where a page offers a video, nothing is loaded from YouTube until you press play. Pressing play loads the YouTube player, and YouTube's privacy policy applies from that point.
How We Use Personal Information
Where you send an enquiry through the form, or contact us by email, we use your message and your email address to respond to you and to deal with the matter you have raised, including any commission that follows. Technical request information is used only to operate, secure and maintain the Site.
Disclosure of Personal Information
We do not disclose personal information to anyone except the service providers named in this Policy, to the extent they need it to run the Site, deliver your enquiry or process a payment, and where the law requires us to disclose it.
Third Party Stores and External Links
Where a Blind Swarm product is sold through a third party store, following a link from the Site to that store, or to any other external site such as Discord or Instagram, takes you away from the Site and places you under the terms and the privacy policy of that site's operator.
Each store conducts its own sales and handles any information you provide to it under its own policies. We do not process payments for store purchases and we are not a party to those transactions.
We have no control over the content or the privacy practices of external sites and accept no responsibility for them.
International Transfers
The service providers named in this Policy operate infrastructure outside Australia, including in the United States. Personal information you send through the form or by email, and the technical information created when you request a page, may therefore be processed and stored overseas.
Security and Retention
No method of transmission or storage is entirely secure and we are unable to guarantee absolute security. Please do not send sensitive or confidential information to us through the form or by email.
The Site keeps no copy of an enquiry. Enquiries and correspondence are kept in our mailbox for as long as we need them to deal with the matter they relate to, and as part of our ordinary business records, including any records the law requires us to keep.
Children
The Site is made for people who develop games and is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your Rights
The Site itself holds nothing about you. Where you have sent an enquiry, corresponded with us or commissioned work from us, we hold that correspondence and the related records. You may ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by contacting us using the details below. We will act on your request unless the law requires us to keep the information.
If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, we handle your enquiry because it is in our legitimate interests to respond to it, or because you have asked us to take steps before entering into an agreement with you. You may also object to our handling of your information, and you may complain to your local data protection authority.
Complaints
Should you have a concern as to how we have handled your personal information, please raise it with us first using the details below. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may be able to lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The current version is always the one published on this page, and the date at the top is amended whenever a change is made. There is no mailing list by which to notify you, so that date is the means by which a change can be identified.
